Reid asks, "Is that a bad thing?"
I snort. "Most people would look at that as being too dependent. You lose sight of who you really are because you sacrifice too much for someone else."
"I would sacrifice the world for you."
"You would?"
"Of course."
"I would too."
"I know."
Silence becomes our way of conversation, little smiles and glances our words and sentences. For hours, we fall asleep and wake up to the familiar company of each other. Arms together, legs tangled, we stay.
